Giloy, also known as Tinospora cordifolia or Guduchi, is a climbing shrub with heart-shaped leaves that is native to tropical regions of India. The stems of the plant are slender, often with a slightly grooved surface. The leaves are green, and the plant produces small yellow flowers. In traditional medicine, the stem of the Giloy plant is commonly used for its medicinal properties. 
Giloy itself does not have a strong aroma. When freshly harvested, it may have a mild, earthy scent. However, the main value of Giloy is in its therapeutic properties rather than its aromatic qualities.
